These are unprecedented times - I am excited to represent Bridgeport on a diverse team that is dedicated to a swift recovery and future prosperity for Connecticut. I have an immense sense of pride being the youngest legislator of color and to bring that perspective to leadership is very special. I want to thank Majority Leader Jason Rojas for appointing me to the position of Deputy Majority Leader where I will be able to promote and push our important legislative priorities forward.

As Deputy Majority Leader, Rep. Felipe will work closely with the Speaker of the House and Majority Leader to rally support to pass critical legislation.

The Deputy Majority Leader is responsible for aiding the Majority Leader with the review and development of policy, the analysis of critical legislation, and with the agenda of the majority party.
