CT CARES Small Business Grant Program
October 20, 2020The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development just announced a new grant program for small businesses affected by COVID. $50M in Federal Cares Act funds will be appropriated for Connecticut's smallest businesses.
In order to qualify for this grant, businesses must meet the following criteria:
- 20 employees or less
- An annual payroll that does not exceed $1.5 million
- Must have been established by October 1, 2019 and still be active
The application will be open on November 9. In the interim, DECD will hold webinars, FAQ sessions and more to educate business owners about the grant, help them apply, and more.
