Bridge Maintenance on I-95 North and Southbound in Greenwich

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced a bridge maintenance project on I-95 in Greenwich which began last night and is scheduled to go through the morning of Friday, January 29, 2021, between the hours of 9:00pm to 5:00am (Monday night through Friday morning).

The work consists of concrete repairs to the Bridge carrying I-95 over the Byram River.

Expect lane closures on I-95 in Greenwich between Exit 2 in Connecticut/New York and Exit 21 in New York. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

No lane closures will occur from Thursday 12/24/20 until Monday 12/28/20, and Thursday 12/23/20 until Monday 1/4/21.

Please remain alert, drive cautiously, and maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. Modifications or extensions to the work schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
