Remember Sandy Hook

December 14, 2020

On December 14, 2012, a shooter opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School, killing 20 first-graders and six educators. It was one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history and sent shockwaves across Connecticut.

On the eighth anniversary of Sandy Hook, please take a moment to remember the victims.

Sandy Hook led to meaningful gun control legislation, school safety improvements and a focus on mental health issues.

We remember Sandy Hook today and recognize there is more we can do to promote common sense gun laws that protect the lives of innocent people.
