Happy Holidays

December 24, 2020

I want to wish everyone a very happy holiday! I hope all of you get the opportunity to relax and enjoy your favorite holiday traditions and festivities. This year has been a difficult one for so many of our neighbors, so let's also remember to keep those in our community who are struggling in our thoughts.

As a reminder for those of you who cannot be with family and friends due to COVID-19: As the company did on Thanksgiving, Zoom will be lifting its 40-minute time limit on video calls and is allowing meetings of unlimited time on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Free Meals Available for Students

Although many schools have closed for winter break, free meals will still be available to students. Any child age 18 or younger can receive meals during the winter break at no cost. Children are eligible to receive a meal from any distribution site, even if they do not live or attend school in that town or city.  A list of participating sites can be found here.

Locations and times for meal service and distribution will vary at each location, so please visit the corresponding website for more information.

For additional information on meal distribution for students, visit the Connecticut State Department of Education website.
