Virtual Women-Owned Small Business Round Table
Next Wednesday, March 10, I will be co-hosting a virtual round table discussion on available resources to help small businesses, especially women and minority entrepreneurs succeed.
Also co-hosting the panel on Wednesday, March 10 at 6:00pm will be State Reps. Jill Barry (D-Glastonbury) and Kerry Wood (D-Newington/Rocky Hill/Wethersfield) along with CEO, Fran Pastore and Business Advisor, Sherry Konwerski of the non-profit Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC).
The conversation will cover funding opportunities and support mechanisms available under the Coronavirus Aid Relief & Economic Security Act (CARES).
Small Businesses may qualify for a loan or grant for the Paycheck Protection Program, SBA Emergency Injury Grants, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, Community Investment Corporation Loans and the Equity Match Grant Program.
