Essay Contest Winners
Congratulations to the two young women who won my essay contest in celebration of Women's History Month.
Anxhelika Deda, whom I had the pleasure of meeting to present her a state citiation, wrote about Mother Teresa of Calcutta as her favorite historical female figure and Madison Violette wrote about her favorite female activist - Amelia Earhart. It is encouraging to see our young students engaging and participating in programs like this!
