LGBTQ Military Veterans Can Apply for Lost Benefits

December 8, 2021

Public Act 21-79 signed into law by Gov. Lamont on June 28, 2021

Veterans who suffered from government-sponsored discriminatory policies because of who they are lost access to VA health care and other benefits such as education, memorial services, and home loans. These unfair discharges drove some into depression or substance abuse.

If you were wrongly discharged; you can now apply for restoration of lost benefits. Don't delay.
