Rep. Paris Hails State Bonding For Stamford

December 21, 2021

I am pleased to share with you that today, the Connecticut State Bond Commission approved over $2.5 million  for projects throughout our city.

The funding breaks down as follows:

  • $2,000,000 for the construction of a science observatory center.
  • $500,000 for the design and construction of safe and more accessible playscapes
  • $75,000 to replace basketball courts and make various improvements to Northrop Park.

These projects will create new recreational opportunities and enhance the quality of life for residents of every age.

I want to extend my thanks to Governor Lamont and commission members for understanding the value of these projects and for choosing to invest in our city.
