TODAY: COVID Test-Kit Distribution in Bloomfield & Windsor

Following last week's delay in distribution of COVID-19 Test-Kits to our community, I am pleased to share that in both Bloomfield and Windsor, distribution of kits will begin TODAY.
 
Bloomfield
The Town of Bloomfield received a limited supply of COVID-19 self-test kits and N-95 masks from the State of Connecticut.

Test kits and N-95 masks will be available to residents today, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, 5PM - 7PM, or until supplies last, and will be distributed in a drive through process at west driveway of the Carmen Arace Middle School located at 390 Park Avenue. This will be a one-way traffic pattern.

Due to the limited supply, there will be a limit of (1) test kit and (10) N-95 Masks per household, and proof of Bloomfield residency will be required. Please stay in your vehicle while at the pick-up point and wear a mask when interacting with anyone at the site.

Windsor
The Town of Windsor will be providing a limited quantity of COVID-19 Self-Test kits free of charge to Windsor residents today, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2:30PM - 5:30PM.

To be eligible to pick up a test kit you must be a Windsor resident, with proof of residency. Acceptable proof of residency includes: driver’s license; passport with a utility bill or piece of mail; etc.

The QuickVUE kits contain two tests per kit, there will be a limit of two kits per person/household. They can be picked up at the Voya Financial Parking Lot located at 1 Orange Way (access from Marshall Phelps Road). Like previously stated, this drive through event will take place from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM or until supplies last.

The Town will also be distributing N-95 masks.
