Two weeks ago marked the eighth decade since the Holocaust began. On January 27th, so many of us joined the rest of the globe in honoring those millions of people – loved ones, family members, neighbors - lost during the Holocaust.
This year's Holocaust remembrance day reminded us that violent antisemitism remains a threat — as we witnessed at a Texas synagogue last month and the Tennessee school district ban of "Maus",  a Holocaust graphic novel. The lessons of history have never been more relevant. We must stand together against the ongoing threats faced by our Jewish brothers and sisters.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum streamed a video of to honor those who were lost, survivors, and individuals who chose to help. I encourage you to watch that video below, and after you watch the program,

Elder Justice Hotline

Over the summer, Attorney General William Tong worked collaboratively to launch the Elder Justice Hotline - a "one stop shop" for older adults in the state who are in need of information, aid, and justice.

If you think you have been the victim of a fraud, received a message demanding immediate payment and aren’t sure if it’s legitimate, you have or your loved one been the victim of abuse or neglect, or you need help accessing benefits or assistance, the Elder Justice Hotline may be able to assist you.
