Comprehensive Approach to Noise Mitigation on I-95
April 8, 2022It was wonderful to have the community involved in the deliberations and to be able to effect change at the state level. I know the Connecticut DOT will pause and reflect on the project - I am trustful and hopeful that they will bring the project back with the appropriate levels of sound mitigation, quiet pavement technology, vegetation, and sound barriers as well as quiet joints to make this a comprehensive solution to the noise and air pollution on I-95 in the area of a community I represent. Once again a strong thanks to Governor Ned Lamont for his support of the community and quality-of-life issues. I was happy to lend my support and voice for our Greenwich community in Hartford.
