Bills I Co-Sponsored That Passed in the House

May 2, 2022

With just 3 days left in the legislative session, here are some of the important bills I’ve cosponsored that have already passed the House.

HB5001 - Supporting children’s mental health through significant expansion of services, coverage, screenings, and provider access in schools and communities

SB4 - The CT Clean Air Act, investing in electric vehicles and other climate-oriented solutions

HB5414 - Expanding and protecting access to abortion care and reproductive health

SB10 - Committing to a zero-carbon electric grid by 2040

SB6 - Protecting consumer data online

HB5417 - Improving juvenile justice by funding programs to reduce recidivism and supporting law enforcement

HB5420 - Providing mental health resources for police officers and investing in training

HB5267 - Supporting arts & culture through strategic planning

HB5430 & HB5044 - Fighting the opioid epidemic through policy and historic investment in treatment and prevention

I’m proud to share that 9 of these 10 bills were BIPARTISAN, like so much of the important work we do in Hartford.

Stay tuned this week for updates about the budget which is set to cut taxes, invest further in businesses, communities, and programs, and bring even more money back to Madison and Durham.
