Do you have questions about the 2022 legislative session or need information about resources in our community? Join me and Senator Jorge Cabrera on Monday, June 13 at 6 p.m. at Chifrijo! During this Community Gathering, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the work we did this session to support people in our community. Bring your questions, concerns, and ideas.

On June 30 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ansonia High School, stop by the Lower Valley Job Fair. The event will feature nearly 40 employers from a variety of industries for various skillsets, pay scales, and hours. 

There will also be free professional headshots, free resume coaching, information on workforce training opportunities, and so much more to equip residents in the Lower Valley with nearly everything they need to land good-paying jobs. In addition to helpful career services, numerous community-based organizations and resources will be in attendance to ensure residents can secure advancement in the workforce. 

Everyone is invited to attend this FREE event! There will be refreshments and transportation to and from the event.
