It was an privilege to be recognized as Connecticut Voices for Children's First for Kids honoree this year. CT Voices is a research-based advocacy organization dedicated to improving the financial wellbeing of Connecticut children and families, particularly those that have been historically disadvantaged.

First for Kids is an annual celebration spotlighting important leaders who have worked to improve family economic security and economic justice and issues of importance. 

Access to childcare and enriching academic opportunity are vitally important for our state and families, especially as we rebound from COVID-19.

Children are often among the first to be impacted by social, economic, and healthcare disruptions, and I remain committed to supporting Connecticut's families and ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
