Today I joined my colleagues to discuss the 2023 State of Reentry Report. The report focuses on examining substance abuse, mental health, medical needs, education, employment, and housing conditions is important, as these are all factors that can impact successful reintegration into the community.
By identifying these barriers and developing strategies to overcome them, Connecticut can help to return citizens gain employment, stay crime-free, and contribute positively to their communities. It's great to see such important issues being addressed in a collaborative and data-driven way.
