Supporting Nursing Home Workers and Residents
The Human Services Committee and Aging Committee later heard testimony at a joint public hearing following the press conference on several bills related to nursing homes. The agenda included, bills supporting the ability of nursing home residents to visit nearby family, requiring air conditioning in nursing home resident’s rooms, stronger protections for people in long-term care, and supporting minimum nursing home staffing levels.
