I want to congratulate my colleague Rep. Christine Palm for receiving the prestigious Walter Cronkite Award for Climate Education. The Stone Soup Leadership Institute honored Rep. Palm on Thursday for her legislative success in passing a climate education mandate in all public schools. Now students all over the state, including Waterbury, are learning about climate change and what we can do to help our planet.

 

I have always been a strong supporter of Rep. Palm and her unwavering efforts to pass climate change education in our great state. Congratulations and continued success on such a prestigious award! The state of Connecticut is better by having you in the House of Representatives.
