Witch Exoneration Bill Passes in Senate

Dear Neighbor,

On Thursday, House Joint Resolution 34 passed out of the Senate. It was a momentous day for the descendants of those accused of and executed for Witchcraft in CT and their families. Thank you to my cosponsor Senator Saud Anwar and Senator Gary Winfield for bringing it to the Senate floor. The resolution has now passed both chambers!! Thank you to Tony and Judy Griego, Josh Hutchinson, Sarah Jack, Mary Louise Bingham, and Beth Caruso. This dynamic team has worked tirelessly for many years. And thank you to my colleagues in the House and the Senate for their overwhelming support!
