Dr. Leo Igwe on Witchcraft Accusations

On Friday, Dr. Leo Igwe, a renowned Nigerian human rights activist, visited the Capitol to talk about the impact of witchcraft accusations in Nigeria.

He discussed how religious extremists in Nigeria have coopted and used local government to enforce religious codes of law, hindering human rights advances. It was a pleasure to welcome Dr. Igwe to Connecticut!
