Check out the Roberto Clemente Exhibition in Waterbury!

The Roberto Clemente: Life & Legacy Exhibition is on full display right now at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury. The display features baseball bats, cards, jerseys, towels, action figures, photographs, and so much more. I contributed some of the pieces to the Roberto Clemente exhibit to showcase how this Puerto Rican legend affected so many lives in different ways 50 years after his tragic passing.

Roberto Clemente embraced Latin American culture in 

I joined Bob Burns, Executive Director of Mattatuck Museum, last week to welcome guests and share the inspiring stories of Clemente that celebrate his humanitarian and athletic achievements. This exhibit is a huge asset to the Waterbury Community because Clemente’s legacy still touches many hearts in the Latin American community. Roberto Clemente is the first Latino player to be enshrined into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Roberto Clemente: Life & Legacy will remain open inside the Monteiro Community Gallery through August 27. This exhibition highlights Clemente’s career in Major League Baseball, his legacy in popular culture, and his charitable and humanitarian work through art and memorabilia.
