Juneteenth Events
I was so glad to see and attend the many events and see increased educational for Juneteenth Day. Recognizing Juneteenth is great and appreciated, BUT we must remember Juneteenth is an evolving culture of celebration, education, happiness, reflection of sadness and an unapologetic request of equality and inclusion on a daily basis.
We must continue to undo any suppression of historical truth, freedom of thought, and ability to obtain equal resources to help build our communities and individual economic growth. Juneteenth Day should never be the same 🏾 it should always be growing!
