Dear Neighbor,

This morning I saw the great news that $60,000 for repairs to the Groton Boathouse appeared on the agenda for the State Bond Commission. The funding will go towards repairs including removing exterior paint and repainting and removing and replacing old roof shingles as needed.

It should be noted that, as of today, the funding has not been fully approved. But when the State Bond Commission meets next Friday, I am confident we will get final approval for this important renovation in our town, and I will reach out next week to provide updates.
