Last week, I told you that $60,000 for repairs to the Groton Boathouse was on the State Bond Commission's agenda. And this morning, that funding was approved!

The Groton Boathouse will have repairs such as removing exterior paint and repainting, removing, and replacing old roof shingles as needed. As you can see in the photo below, the boathouse is in need of a major facelift, and that's exactly what this project will do.

This may be a small endeavor, but it is little upgrades like this that add up and make our community so wonderful. Thank you to Governor Lamont and the State Bonding Commission for their approval of these funds and their support of Groton.
