Connecticut-Puerto Rico Trade Commission
May 16, 2025House Democrats voted to create the Connecticut-Puerto Rico Trade Commission. This is an opportunity to not only grow our state's economy but to also strengthen our cultural bonds, promote tourism, and create jobs on both sides of this partnership. With nearly 300,000 Puerto Ricans calling Connecticut home, this commission will open doors for new opportunities and collaborations. It now awaits action in the Senate.
