We’ve made real progress this session, but we aren't doing it alone. Every step forward has taken collaboration, courage, and commitment, not just from the LGBTQ+ Caucus, but from our allies across the legislature and communities.
And that brings me to something I said at today’s press conference:
Being an ally isn’t about a pin, a post, or a Pride Month appearance. It’s about showing up, consistently, courageously, and when it counts most.
To every LGBTQ+ individual in Connecticut and beyond: You are seen, you are valued, and we will continue to fight for your rights. |
