2016 Legislative Oral Health Champion
I’m honored to receive the 2016 Legislative Oral Health Champion Award from the Connecticut Oral Health Initiative. This year the legislature passed a Public Health Committee bill (PA 16-4) that will help ensure that public water supplies meet federal recommendations for fluoride levels in drinking water to prevent tooth decay. I will continue to advocate for legislation that promotes better oral health for Connecticut residents.
