Act Concerning Bicycle Safety Now Law
Comprehensive changes were made in the way the state and municipalities approach bicycle safety and transportation infrastructure planning in Public Act 15-41, An Act Concerning Bicycle Safety.
In addition to testifying in support and meeting with colleagues and transportation officials in Hartford and locally to promote the legislation, Rep. Cristin McCarthy Vahey joined fellow bike and pedestrian advocates on a 40-mile bicycle trip from New Haven to Hartford in support of its passage.
