Dear Neighbor,

Session Begins!
This Wednesday, I was proud to be sworn in for another term as State Representative at the Connecticut General Assembly. It was great to see my legislative colleagues again and begin planning how we are going to help the people of Connecticut this session.

This session, I will be serving as Deputy Speaker of the House and as a member of the Aging, Appropriations, Internship, and Veterans and Military Affairs Committees.

Resources for the Upcoming Session

It's easier than ever to follow along and get involved in our legislative session. There are several resources you can utilize that will help you stay updated on our work as it unfolds in Hartford.

Here's how you can stay connected and actively participate:

  • The Office of Legislative Research (OLR) provides nonpartisan and unbiased research to members of the General Assembly and their staff. Part of their duties include writing bill analyses, which are summaries of bills in plain language. Click here to check out their website.
  • In addition, OLR recently published the 2025 Major Issues report, which summarizes key issues the legislature could take up during session.
  • You can view the Connecticut General Assembly's upcoming events by checking out its schedule on the CGA official website
  • Follow CT-N for live coverage of committee meetings, as well as House and Senate floor debates.
  • You can register to monitor any bill's journey as it goes through the legislative process. By signing up, you can enter the bill number and receive real-time updates. Stay informed with email notifications whenever there's a change in the bill's progress.
  • Visit this website for information on how to testify on a bill at a public hearing.

Together, we can ensure all voices are heard.

Thank you to the City of New London, Connecticut ADNL / Asociación de Dominicanos de New London for the amazing Three Kings Day event this past weekend. It was so great to see so many families, friends and neighbors come out on a great day of giving. We appreciate the Regional Innovation Center, all the volunteers and friends that came out and made such a betterment to NL.
