Dearly Beloved Neighbor,

State lawmakers were happy to sit with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. for a legislative breakfast in Hartford last week!
I love these gatherings. They are so important because they allow us an opportunity to hear from our constituents and those who advocate on their behalf. It's also an opportunity for us to educate them on the procedure by which legislation becomes law and the importance of their civic engagement throughout the process.
