I would like to take a moment to wish you and your family a wonderful and safe Independence Day.
The 4th of July marks the birth of our nation and honors the Declaration of Independence, adopted in 1776. It’s a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the message of the Declaration, which I’m sharing in a photo from my recent visit to the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Whether you’re enjoying fireworks, a parade, or time with family and friends, I hope this day fills you with pride and gratitude for the communities we share and the country we call home.
