I had a great morning speaking with CT’s Keep the Promise Coalition at their advocacy training session in the Legislative Office Building. Grassroots legislation takes a lot of voices and a lot of hard work to make its way through the legislative process. It’s important for citizen-advocates to learn as much as possible about the process so they can be effective champions of their cause.
