Special Interest “Dark Money”
March 27, 2017The Legislature’s GAE Committee is voting on a bill to shine a spotlight on dark money in political campaigns. Transparency is our guiding principle. The unending flow of dark money undermines the Connecticut's Citizens' Election Program. CEP was specifically designed to keep outside money out of our elections.
Voters deserve to know the faces behind the donations. Speaker Joe Aresimowicz, State Representative Daniel J. Fox and members of Connecticut House Democrats held a press conference on the legislation.
