Rep. Rosario appointed as a Deputy Speaker Pro-Tempore
Speaker of the House Matt Ritter announced that Representative Rosario will serve on his House leadership team as a Deputy Speaker Pro-Tempore.
Speaker Ritter said, “I have a great team of leaders to help me run the House Chamber. Deputy Speakers spend long hours on the dais overseeing debate. They have to be fair while keeping the flow of business moving.”
When the Speaker of the House is absent from the chamber, the Deputy Speaker presides over the House of Representatives.
