Electric Boat's acquisition of the mostly vacant Crystal Mall in Waterford is just wonderful news for the area. According to the company, it "expects to move engineering, training, software development, and other support staff into the building. Somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 workers are expected to use the property, which is estimated to open in 2027."
