The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced the scheduled closure of the Route 349 Northbound on-ramp (3B) to I-95 southbound in Groton, on Saturday, November 14 from 5 AM to 3 PM.  The closure is necessary to facilitate bridge expansion joint replacement activities.

CHC Connecticut announced that they are extending the hours at their COVID testing sites. Most locations are now administering free COVID tests from 8:30 am - 4 pm. No appointment is required.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced a scheduled 24-hour closure of the I-95 southbound on-ramp from Route 349 northbound (Exit 3B) in Groton for paving operations. The closure will begin at 7:00PM on Saturday, October 10.

I am pleased to announce that Groton will receive a grant of $477,647 for general improvements to school buildings in our community. This grant was awarded during the Special Meeting of the State Bond Commission earlier today.
