Severe Cold Weather Protocol Extended to Saturday
January 22, 2025Due to an updated weather forecast showing that the current stretch of brutally frigid conditions Connecticut is experiencing will continue for at least another day longer than anticipated, Governor Lamont is extending the duration of the state’s severe cold weather protocol to remain in effect until NOON on Saturday, January 25.
Severe Cold Weather Protocol Set to be Activated
January 17, 2025Due to a weather forecast indicating that Connecticut will experience a period of brutally frigid conditions over the coming days, Governor Lamont is directing the state’s severe cold weather protocol to go into effect at 6 p.m. on Sunday and remain in effect through noon on Friday.
