Millions for the 104th District, Valley Update and Policy Highlights
December 6, 2024Good news for economic redevelopment and affordable housing this week in the 104th District!
In Derby, the Trolley Pointe development under construction on Main Street will receive a $2.625 million loan from Build For CT, a program of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA). Trolley Pointe is a 105-unit apartment building at the site of the former Lifetouch property downtown, and 21 of the units fall under the state’s affordable designation — meaning households that earn between 60 to 80 percent of the area’s median income.

October 15, 2024Big news for Ansonia! I have secured a $500,000 grant for the Ansonia Animal Shelter on the agenda of the State Bond Commission’s special meeting on Tuesday, October 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. I have been working hard to secure this funding for the shelter and I am so glad to get this done.
Information Session on ArrayRx Program, Valley Update and Policy Highlights
October 4, 2024Please join me for an information session on the ArrayRx Discount Card with Comptroller Sean Scanlon on Thursday, October 10 at noon at the Derby Senior Center. Comptroller Scanlon and I will discuss the benefits of the ArrayRx program, which negotiates discounts with pharmacy networks and rebates with drug manufacturers to make many common drugs available at a fraction of the price.
