The mental health and well-being of our state's youth and families is a leading priority this session.

In our fourth round of funds, we have secured $8.2 million in grants to improve mobility, accessibility and safety in our towns. We have now secured a total of 104 awards and more than $38 Million. #proudtodeliver

We celebrate the achievements, accomplishments and contributions Black Americans have made to this country, of which there are many, each February during National Black History Month.

Balancing education and the effects of in-person learning on public health has been a daunting and ongoing task during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially as cases are on the rise as students and faculty return from their holiday break.

A number of new laws will take effect in Connecticut at the start of the new year. My colleagues and I worked hard during the 2021 legislative session to listen to your concerns and advocate for meaningful change in our state.
