I wanted to share with you a news story featuring my efforts to improve restaurant food safety for people with allergies and food restrictions that appeared in the CT Examiner. This discusses what we have done so far and the work we still must do in Connecticut.

This January 1^st not only marked the beginning of a new year, it also meant the enactment of dozens of new laws and reforms for Connecticut residents.

Access Health has extended their 2020 enrollment period to January 15^th. They will be hosting an Enrollment Fair in Branford on Tuesday, January 14 at the Joseph Trapasso Community House Multi-Function Rooms A & B, 46 Church Street, Branford from 5:00pm – 8:00 pm. As another year comes to a close, I would like to wish you and your family a happy holiday season. I am thankful that I am able to represent our community and I can't wait to see what we accomplish in the new year.

For many people, the holiday season is a joyous time spent with family, catching up with friends, and attending social gatherings. But for some, it is a time of year of increased depression, loneliness and sadness. I am proud to have earned a perfect score on the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters’ 2019 Environmental Scorecard released this week. Since 2000, the Environmental Scorecard has rated state legislators on key environmental priorities each year.
