Artists, DECD and Schedule Updates
April 21, 2020I hope you are safe and well. I have some news on aid, and changes in schedule.
First, late last night the Governor announced small grants for artists.
Second, several of you asked about aid to small businesses. If you applied for aid from the state Department of Economic Development (DECD) and have difficulty, let me know.
Third, unemployment should be rolling out now, with a new program for self-employed individuals coming April 30. You can find updates here.
Fourth, since we cannot yet gather in a large group, the legislature will not meet at the Capitol, but will continue to work together on line and by phone. A special session is planned once it is safe.
