North Haven Youth Social Group Meetings Scheduled

Dear Neighbor,

The Department of Children and Families has launched a group for queer youth with foster system involvement.

The North Haven Youth Social Group is for any LGBTQ+ youth with current or prior experience with case management, foster homes, adoption, etc., whether directly through DCF or not. This is a safe social space for queer youth with system involvement to be themselves and connect with others with similar experiences.

The group is not a clinical support group, so insurance or advanced registration is not required. Still, trained and experienced staff will be ready to facilitate group discussions and/or offer individual support as needed.
