COVID-19 Updates: Taxes, Direct Payments & More

I want to pass along some important information and updates on the state's response to COVID-19.

Tax Filing Information

The following is an update from the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services:

On Tuesday, April 14, 2020, DRS extended filing and payment deadlines for certain state tax returns, to align with federal changes. The impacted Connecticut returns and the associated filing dates and payment deadlines are set forth in the table below. Corresponding questions and answers in the FAQ are in the process of being updated.

Changes to AP Exams

For the 2019-20 AP Exam administration only, students will take a secure 45-minute online exam for each course. The exam content will focus on what most schools were able to complete by early-March.

The full exam schedule including the specific free-response question types that will compromise each AP exam can now be found on the AP website.
