SSI Recipients Economic Impact Payments; Danbury Food Resources

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients who don't file tax returns should begin receiving Economic Impact Payments next week.

For those who receive SSI benefits and did not file taxes in 2018 or 2019 and have qualifying children under 17 payment information is needed. More details and where to enter the information can be found by clicking the press release from the Social Security.

 

Danbury Food Response
 
Danbury has food resources for people in need. The image below includes information about school meals ‘Grab and Go’ program,s the Danbury Food Collaborative (information in English, Spanish and Portuguese); The Association of Religious Communities (ARC), Daily Bread Food Pantry, The Salvation Army and the Connecticut Food Bank Mobile Pantry schedule, Hillside Food Outreach, and the Meals on Wheels through the Western CT Area Agency on Aging is also included.
