Dear Neighbor,
While Republicans in Washington and now in Connecticut are attacking health care, especially Medicaid, Democrats including me are fighting for you. The House and Senate voted to fund an extra $284 million in the current state budget to ensure Connecticut's federally supported Medicaid health insurance program for 900,000 elderly, disabled, and low-income children was funded through this end of the fiscal year.
The governor did issue a declaration that was necessary to fund Medicaid for the remainder of the 2025 fiscal year that ends June 30. |
