Here's the latest update on the Route 113 sinkhole in the Lordship section of Stratford.
As I noted in a recent e-newsletter, due to the proximity of the sinkhole to Sikorsky Airport, the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) needed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to sign off before work could start. I'm happy to share with you that the FAA gave preliminary approval on July 14.
Construction start dates, runway closures, and other specifics are currently being discussed. I will keep you updated on the progress of the project and the timeline. |
