I was proud to vote for a bill allocating $40 million in immediate relief to cover special education costs. Stratford Public Schools will receive approximately $650,000 as part of this funding.

Connecticut revitalized its recycling refund system, or bottle bill, by making the program more convenient for the public, doubling the deposit from $0.05 to $0.10, and expanding eligible containers.

The Stratford Delegation has made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s legislative session preview meet and greet due to the forecasted winter weather.
