About 90 measures passed during the 2025 legislative session take effect on October 1.

The Community Investment Fund (CIF) Board approved the funds on September 30. It needs final approval from the State Bond Commission. If it receives final approval, construction is anticipated to start by January 2026, with completion expected by October 2027.
