Veterans: Act Now on the PACT Act for Backdated Compensation

August 8, 2023

Are you a veteran who is suffering from a service-related injury or illness? Claims received by August 9 are eligible for 12 months of backdated compensation.

There’s no deadline to apply for PACT Act benefits. But if you file your PACT Act claim — or quickly submit your intent to file — on or before August 9, you may receive benefits backdated to August 10, 2022, if approved.
