For the fourth time this year, Connecticut’s Extreme Hot Weather Protocol has been activated.

A reminder that Connecticut’s Extreme Hot Weather Protocol is in effect through Friday, July 18. Please take all necessary precautions and check in on neighbors who may need assistance.

A reminder to join me and other members of the Farmington state delegation for a post-session legislative discussion in the Yates Room of the police department on Monday, July 14, at 6 p.m.

First, I want to wish everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend. The Fourth falls on a Friday this year, which is convenient, to say the least.

Due to an anticipated stretch of high temperatures, the state is activating its Extreme Hot Weather Protocol, effective at noon on Sunday, June 22. The protocol will remain in effect through at least 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25.

Another legislative session is in the books. After long days and debates on the House floor, we passed numerous measures that will benefit residents in the 21st district and across the state, from protecting workers to crafting a responsible state budget.
